Easy Rider

Jason Lee Parry for Tavik Swimwear + The Trade Collective

This shoot makes me yearn for summer time and a road trip so unbelievably bad. It's already a week into March and it snowed today... What the actual hell. At least I got a small get away to San Diego this last week. Sending my prayers to the sun gods. xo

Come as you are

"The concrete bowl of a skate park gives a visual clue as to the L.A-feel of Stylestalker’s latest collection. From an oversized tank emblazoned with a peace sign – something the ’90s might well have felt at home in originally – to dreamy pleated white skirts that somehow marry Marilyn with skater-grunge, it’s all fare that fits the brand’s effortless-meets-sexy trademark image. Look out for metallic silver skirts and the surprise addition of a mandarin-collared oriental-inspired dress – pieces that feel fresh and simultaneously futurist yet vintage." -Stylestalker

First of all - babe alert! I have a massive girl crush on Alex Spencer. And this latest collection from Stylestalker is everything I adore. Loose tops, metallic's, sky-high and studded ankle boots & short skirts. Perfection!

THE THIRD MIND

MANIAMANIA Spring 2012 Campaign shoot, entitled The Third Mind. Inspired by the work of psychedelic pioneers like Brion Gysin and William Burroughs, the jewelry range pays a nod to surrealism. The designers note: "Free from the constraints of rational thought, the collection is constructed in ways that allude to the Exquisite Corpse technique--whereby words and images are collectively assembled and relish in absence of control." The collaborations featuring muse, Abbey Lee Kershaw, is part of a three-part series. In honor of their second season working with Kershaw, the designers have even designed the limited edition,  exclusive "Abbey Lee Ring."

The Australian designers Melanie Kamsler and Tamila Purvis have designed a beautiful new line of jewelry for Spring 2012 featuring wooden pendants, crystal balls and cubes cut from things like pyrite and labradorite (a feldspar mineral). See jewelry here.
